It’s in the process that Chef Pablo Peñalosa and visual artist, Coulter Prehm find joy and peculiarity. Together, these two artists created a menu that will share the process of their artwork, at a one-night-only fine dining experience. After completing his undergraduate art degree in 2008, Prehm found himself in Santa Fe studying at the Ryder Studio School, learning to paint from a master.

Though, over the course of those years Tony Ryder imparted to Coulter not only the ability to draw and paint, but most importantly to see. Prehm’s process is meditative and centered around a desire to get quiet, to be still, and to observe with clarity, with eyes wide open.

Chef Pablo Peñalosa who has more than a dozen years of culinary and Michelin star restaurant experience and shares a global perspective that ties in techniques and flavors discovered during his time living in Mexico and Spain, while nurturing the connection between the land, ingredients, makers and farmers to the hotel guests and community in a purposeful way.

Sharing the process on July 8, 2023, Bobby Beals presents in Santa Fe at Bishop’s Lodge, Process featuring Coulter Prehm + Pablo Peñalosa. The evening begins at 6:30pm. Reservations are required and for those that purchase reception reservations, expect to see the artist’s processes.
