Working nearly exclusively with infrared film using a range of cameras including a 4x5, a 6x17 panoramic and a pinhole, Cody Brothers’ analog captures are scanned and output as black and white digital chromogenic prints. Cody Brothers is an analog photographer focusing on subject matter that is predominantly landscape. Capturing vast scenes that bring the viewer to understand a sense of place, Brothers travels miles and miles on each shoot to achieve the best final photograph.

Cody has had solo shows in Santa Fe, NM and New York City and his work is represented across the country. His work is also in several individual and institutional collections and has developed major photographic installations in a competitive bidding environment. In addition, the work of Cody Brother’s has been exhibited in Russel’s Rotunda in Washington D.C. and he has received several NEA and NPCA grants to continue his ongoing pursuit of photography.

Ten new works will be revealed at the Horseshoe Gallery along with the opportunity to join Cody Brothers on a nearby photograph excursion. The exhibit duration is June 17, 2023 through June 30, 2023 with an opening reception, 5-6:30pm on June 17, 2023.
