Click! is a gourmet dinner with two of the finest artists, in Santa Fe’s finest resort, Bishop’s Lodge. Chef Pablo Peñalosa welcomes fine art photographer, Cody Brothers in a multi course gourmet dinner with wine pairings.
Since returning to New Mexico, Cody’s professional photographic career has flourished. He has completed commissions for the state of Nevada, documenting their water reclamation resources, and the art deco architecture of the dams, pumping stations and water resources along the Colorado River. In 2016, he was awarded the NEA’s “Imagine Your Parks” Grant, with the sponsorship of The Springs Preserve of Las Vegas, NV., commemorating the Centennial of the founding of the National Parks Service. Upon receiving the grant the NPCA (National Park Conservation Association) sponsored a show of his National Parks imagery at the Russell Rotunda Senate Office Building in Washington D.C. Most recently, in January 2020 he served as Artist in Residence in Death Valley NP, and in October 2020 at Shenandoah NP.
Cody works strictly with black and white and infrared films; using a wide variety of both medium and large format lens, and pinhole cameras. By using lengthy exposure times for the majority of his captures, he creates a “Dream State” quality to his imagery.
Exploring photography with the intention to create a culinary and artistic night to remember, Brothers and Chef Pablo have brought their creative expertise together. Capturing a moment in time will be the focus and guests will be part of the process.
Chef Pablo Peñalosa has more than a dozen years of culinary and Michelin star restaurant experience and shares a global perspective that ties in techniques and flavors discovered during his time living in Mexico and Spain, while nurturing the connection between the land, ingredients, makers and farmers to the hotel guests and community in a purposeful way.
